Who do we blame for the eviction of Eden?

I think we should blame the serpent (snake). The reason I think this is because I feel that the serpent is suppose to be Satan. Although Adam and Eve were told not to eat fruit from the Garden of Eden, the serpent tempted them.
The serpent said "You will not surely die, for God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." So, the serpent was saying to Eve that you would not get in trouble but instead when you eat the fruit you will receive powers like God. Eve knew that she was not suppose to eat it because she was told to but she bit the fruit anyway and gave some to Adam. The serpent was trying to convince both Adam and Eve to misbehave and follow the devil's side. The serpent was trying to trick Eve into following bad behavior. God was testing Adam and Eve if they were going to do well but they were tempted. If it wasn't for the serpent trying to tempt them then Adam and Eve would have followed God's commands.
